Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Dartmouth Health offers two EAP sources for employees and their families. A summary of the programs and links to their independent websites are below.

DHMC Employee Assistance Program

The DHMC EAP is a free and confidential counseling service for all staff and physicians, including full-time, part-time, temporary, volunteers, and retirees. The EAP is also available to staff and physicians’ family members, including spouses, domestic partners, significant others and extended family.

The DHMC EAP services provide assistance with a variety of subjects for up to six visits per issue with a professional counselor. The EAP will also help with the facilitation of psychiatric medication evaluations and it may act as a referral source for extended counseling and support, or when there are medical, legal or financial problems.

KGA Employee Assistance Program

The KGA EAP is also available to all staff, physicians and their families. KGA EAP offers confidential consultation, resources and referrals for child care, elder care,financial, legal, stress reduction, career consultation, work life, fitness and nutrition.
